Abstract

This article evaluates the role of universities in consolidating,
expanding, and deepening Islamic values  . In the era of globalization
and interaction with various cultural trends, universities as hubs of
knowledge production and nurturing intellectual elites bear a
fundamental responsibility in strengthening Islamic identity. This
research focuses on analyzing strategic components, challenges, and
obstacles ahead, while presenting practical suggestions for
institutionalizing the Islamization of knowledge. The findings of this
study indicate that universities are capable of significantly
contributing to the preservation of Islamic principles through official
and non-official educational programs, training committed human
resources, producing knowledge based on religious foundations,
effective
interaction
with society, and creating cultural
infrastructures. However, this path is challenged by issues such as
the infiltration of foreign cultures, lack of resources, and value
contradictions. Ultimately, the article underscores the need to
strengthen the role of universities in educating a committed and
knowledgeable generation to ensure the future of Islamic civilization.
